Id NEVER buy Microsoft hardware. 1. my $2500 surface book had "flicker gate" making it useless. microsoft refused help. it took 3 years and a class action before they fixed it 2. my $150 elite controller got "drift" looked online and it was a manufacturing flaw and affects 10000s of units. did microsoft replace? no. they said buy a new one for $180. now my 2013, yes 7 year old mac book had an issue (i won't say what as people will scam) and they fixed it and said if i wanted "trash it an get $150 off a new one) so even though i LOVE the surface book id be wary. if those 1st gen arms fail, they won't replace them.
